A Note from Fred
We are having a fund raising auction in Melbourne planned for November to raise funds to pay for a visit to Australia by former Hibs legend Pat Stanton.
Pat played in an era just before the stellar salaries of today’s game, and when loyalty between clubs/players still existed, and our aim is to reward him for this loyalty by giving him a three week tour of OZ..
Among the items offered is the above replica Hearts top, which was donated by none other than ‘The Hammer of the Hibs’ John Robertson.
If you are wondering why Robbo has put the number 27 on the back, let’s just say he has a sense of humour and he tells me that this was the number of gaols he scored against Hibs during his career!!
Obviously not too many Hibbies are going to break the bank to hang a Hearts strip on their wall..just as you guys would have minimal interest in a Hibs strip, but our aim is simply to maximise any revenue towards Pat’s visit, hence this email to you.
If you know any Hearts fans, your local club or anyone you know of may be interested in putting in a bid they can contact Fred for further details.
Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.
